Norman Shealy
December 4, 1932 - July 8, 2024

We are all saddened by the passing of C. Norman Shealy, MD, PhD, a holistic medical pioneer. He was part of a group of visionary physicians that founded the American Holistic Medical Association (AHMA)—the predecessor to
the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine (AIHM). Norm Shealy
became the first president of AHMA, and in 1978, the first meeting was
held in Denver, CO.
